Fire crews from Saskatoon and the surrounding area fought a grass fire southeast of the city that was sparked early on Tuesday afternoon.According to the Saskatoon Fire Department, the blaze was halfway between the city and Clavet on Highway 16 and south on Range Road 3041.The fire at one point was 200 hectares (494 acres) in size.According to Corman Park Police, the fire began as a controlled burn that got out of control. No injuries were reported.“No structures were damaged,” the police service said in a statement.“A couple of residences were evacuated as a precautionary measure but soon were able to return home.”
