A former New Orleans Saints defensive back is the latest player to sign with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
The CFL team announced Monday it had signed American DB DaMarcus Fields, a product of Texas Tech University who signed with the Saints as an undrafted free agent after the 2022 NFL draft.
The 6-foot-0, 200-pounder played two regular-season games with the Saints in ’22. He joined the Washington Commanders’ practice roster in October of that year and was with Washington through August of 2023.
