A Melfort man is facing a charge of second-degree murder in connection with the death of a 30-year-old woman.
According to the RCMP, officers received a report about a disturbance at a local business on Sunday shortly before 5 a.m.
Police said an investigation determined that 30-year-old Danielle Dobersheck had been injured during what police called as an altercation with a man.

Dobersheck, a resident of Prince Albert, was declared dead by paramedics at the scene, police said.
“Her family has been notified and victim services made available to them,” the RCMP noted
Cody Chubey, a 35-year-old Melfort man, was arrested at the scene.
Police said he and Dobersheck knew each other.
According to northeastNOW, social media posts indicated the pair were previously in a long-term relationship, but a close friend of Dobersheck said they had broken up and were no longer living together.
Chubey made his first court appearance on Monday in Melfort Provincial Court.
