Get ready to break out the shovels again.
On the same day that warm temperatures returned to southern Saskatchewan, Environment Canada issued a special weather statement Thursday for southern Saskatchewan. Regina and Saskatoon were included in the advisory.
The weather service said heavy snow will fall on southern Saskatchewan this weekend.
“Snowfall will begin on Saturday in western parts of the province, generally south of the Yellowhead (Highway), and will expand eastward through the day,” the statement said.
“Total amounts of 10 to 20 (centimetres) are likely across most of southern Saskatchewan, with some pockets of up to 30 cm possible.”
Environment Canada said the system is expected to leave the province Sunday night.

Some areas of the province already were under snowfall warnings Thursday, with 10 to 15 cm expected by Friday morning.
That advisory was in place for areas around La Ronge, Narrow Hills Provincial Park, Prince Albert National Park, Cumberland House and Southend.
