The SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival wants people to know they aren’t selling any tickets yet for 2024 — so they don’t fall victim to a scam.
In a post made to Facebook on Friday, the organization shared that a third-party ticketing website had listed the festival on its platform and added its own fees to festival passes.
“Please be advised that the SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival has not yet announced its lineup or posted any tickets for sale for the 2024 festival,” the jazz festival account shared online.
Tickets to the 2024 festival will be going on sale in March, but there are specific ways to legitimately make that purchase.
Corporate VIP experiences are sold only by phone or email and cannot be purchased online. General tickets can only be purchased at the festival’s website, saskjazz.com, or through the official box office at The Broadway Theatre in Saskatoon.
“We do not sell tickets through Showpass or any other ticketing platform,” the SaskTel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival shared in its post.
