The southbound lanes of Highway 11 were closed at Warman on Tuesday morning due to a crash, but the route was reopened later in the morning.
According to the Saskatchewan Highway Hotline, the collision happened at the intersection of Highway 11 and Warman’s Central Street.
“Southbound lanes are blocked, traffic is being diverted down Central Street,” the hotline said in a statement issued just after 8:30 a.m.
While there was no word on injuries, helicopter air ambulance service STARS said it had been dispatched to the Warman area for an emergency call just before 8 a.m.
In an update issued at 11 a.m., the RCMP said the highway was open to traffic again.
According to Warman Fire Rescue, the crash involved a car and a pedestrian. A patient was treated at the scene and transported to hospital by STARS.
