A 31-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a shooting in Saskatoon’s Riversdale neighbourhood on Saturday.
Police said officers were called to the 800 block of 20th Street West on Saturday afternoon for a report of an injured person in the street.
When they arrived, police found the man suffering from a gunshot wound in his torso. He was taken to hospital, and while his injury was described as serious, police said the gunshot wound was not believed to be life-threatening.

Two people were arrested in the area after the shooting, police said, but both were later released.
The shooting remains under investigation by the police service’s Serious Assault Unit.
