A 31-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a shooting in Saskatoon’s Riversdale neighbourhood on Saturday.
Police said officers were called to the 800 block of 20th Street West on Saturday afternoon for a report of an injured person in the street.
When they arrived, police found the man suffering from a gunshot wound in his torso. He was taken to hospital, and while his injury was described as serious, police said the gunshot wound was not believed to be life-threatening.

Two people were arrested in the area after the shooting, police said, but both were later released.
The shooting remains under investigation by the police service’s Serious Assault Unit.
“Anyone with information or video of the incident is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477,” the police service said in a statement.
