A 48-year-old man was shot to death Saturday morning in Saskatoon’s Caswell Hill neighbourhood.
In a media release, the Saskatoon Police Service said its Major Crime Section was investigating the murder — the second of the year in the city.
According to police, officers responded just after 6:45 a.m. to a call about an injured man in a house in the 200 block of Avenue K North. At the scene, the officers found the victim, who had succumbed to a gunshot wound.
Police identified a 21-year-old Saskatoon man as the suspect and he was subsequently arrested.
The victim and the accused are known to each other, police said.
