This week’s warm weather left some Saskatoon streets slick with ice on Thursday morning, and police say officers have been busy responding to multiple crashes.
“Police are responding to several collisions throughout the city this morning,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
“As a result, traffic restrictions exist at the intersection of Adilman Drive and Wanuskewin Road, as well as in the 3500 block of Diefenbaker Drive.”
Police didn’t say if any injuries had resulted from the crashes, but noted that an update will be provided when more information is available or when the restrictions are lifted.
“Members of the motoring public are reminded to reduce speeds, increase following distance, and allow for additional time to arrive at destinations,” the police service added.
