A fire at a Saskatoon car wash Monday afternoon is being investigated as possible arson.
The Saskatoon Fire Department was called shortly before 3 p.m. about a vehicle on fire inside the Spiffy Car Wash on Fairlight Drive.
Crews arrived to find heavy black smoke coming from the building. Firefighters had the blaze under control within 20 minutes.
In an update issued on Tuesday, the fire department confirmed nobody was hurt in the fire, and said the damage was estimated at $175,000.
“The investigation has been turned over to the Saskatoon Police Service,” the fire department noted in a statement.
