Three people were arrested on Wednesday night after allegedly fleeing from a traffic stop in a stolen vehicle.
According to Saskatoon police, officers spotted a suspicious vehicle speeding in the area of 20th Street West and Avenue S South at around 10 p.m. When police tried to stop the vehicle, the driver allegedly took off.
A tire deflation device was used to stop the vehicle near Edmonton Avenue and Avenue P North, police said. Three people ran from the vehicle after it came to a stop on 33rd Street West, and were all quickly arrested.

A police dog later helped locate a sawed-off shotgun that had was discarded nearby, police said, and the vehicle was found to have been stolen at gunpoint in Prince Albert on Tuesday.
Three people — a 26-year-old man, a 22-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl — are all facing charges of possession of stolen property under $5,000 and weapons charges.
The older man is also facing charges of possession of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle while being pursued by police, dangerous driving, and breaching court-ordered conditions.
