One household in Stonebridge is counting up more trick-or-treaters than most other homes in Saskatoon.
The homeowner, Janelle, called into C95 on Wednesday to talk with Shauna and Rob about her Halloween this year.
Janelle said she had close to 900 trick-or-treaters come to her front door.
“My partner’s favourite season is Halloween. We decorate our yard like crazy … and we had 897 trick-or-treaters (Tuesday) night,” said Janelle.
That’s a lot of trick-or-treaters, but Janelle said last year helped them prepare for this year.
“Last year we had 860 and we ran out of candy, so we were prepared for 1,000 this year,” said Janelle. “(We gave out) little chocolate bars, and some candy.”
Janelle said she loves the busy Halloween nights.
“Every year it is so fun. Everybody is screaming and giggling,” said Janelle. “It’s so fun to watch all the kids just enjoy the yard.”
Janelle said she had people in the yard who would jump out and scare people as well.
