A 31-year-old woman was hospitalized Thursday morning after she was hit by a train in Saskatoon.
According to Saskatoon police, officers were called at around 6 a.m., to the area of 25th Street East and Idylwyld Drive for a report of a pedestrian being hit by a train.
Police said the woman was taken to hospital by ambulance with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
“Traffic restrictions that were in place for the duration of the investigation have since been removed,” police said in their release.
