Sunday is the day to celebrate all of the father figures out there, and join them in doing what they love most.
650 CKOM/980 CJME asked some of Saskatoon’s dads what they truly want for Father’s Day this year.
Quality time with family, nine holes of golf, firing up the grill, and beer for breakfast were just some activities on that list.
You can hear the interviews here:
Brian’s Sunday will be filled with some great food, time with the grandkids, a golf game and some relaxation.
He will fire up the grill to make a rib dinner while his wife handles all the fixings.
His message to other dads is to simply enjoy the time spent with family and friends.
Mason is just hoping for a day off. He said he’ll start it with a breakfast beer and a beer for every meal in between.
His advice to other dads is to “keep your stick on the ice and keep it between the lanes.”
Every year, Andrew looks forward to getting a card with little scribbles and hearts that remind him how much his daughters love him.
“I just can’t imagine life without them. They keep me smiling, they keep me yelling (and) they just keep me striving to be a better person,” he said with a laugh.
His advice to other fathers is “learn to say sorry to your kids.”
