A break-in at a home in Yellow Grass resulted in the theft of ammunition and guns — some of which apparently are still missing.
In a media release, the Weyburn Police Service said it got a call Wednesday about the break-in and the theft of what police called “several high-powered firearms and a large amount of ammunition.”
On Thursday afternoon, Weyburn officers pulled over a vehicle and found some of the stolen guns and ammo. It’s unclear how many of the guns taken in the break-in remain missing.
A woman was arrested and charged with gun-related offences, as well as other offences. Police said the investigation is ongoing and further charges are likely.
