The locker room was full of optimism for the future of the organization on Sunday.
A Saskatoon restaurant in University Heights caught fire after a pot was left on a burner that was turned on.
In a news release, fire crews said they got a call just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday after an alarm was sent to a monitoring company.
Three fire engines and one ladder truck was called to the scene.
During the investigation, it was found that the fire was caused by unattended cooking.
Saskatoon Fire said the blazed caused around $15,000 in damage but it could have been more.
Automatic fire suppression equipment minimized the damage.
There were no injuries during the fire and the building was empty at the time.
The restaurant has been closed and will re-open once clean-up has occurred.
