A 23-year-old Saskatoon man is facing charges related to sexual assault and child pornography.
According to police, Norman Joshua Bignall Jr. allegedly exposed himself in public and inappropriately touched two women at a business on First Avenue South on April 30. As a result, he was charged with two counts of committing an indecent act and two counts of sexual assault.
At the time of the alleged assaults, Bignall Jr. was being investigated by officers with the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit. Those officers had executed a search warrant at a Saskatoon home on March 22, when they seized electronic devices.
On Tuesday, police said, Bignall Jr. was charged with two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of making child pornography available.
He was released from custody “on numerous conditions” in advance of a court date later this month, police said.
