Saskatoon City Hall was evacuated Tuesday morning after police were alerted about a suspicious package.
According to police, officers set up a perimeter around the building on Third Avenue North while waiting for the police Explosive Disposal Unit to arrive, but that team ultimately determined the package was not a threat to public safety.
Police previously asked the public and motorists to avoid the area, but those restrictions were lifted shortly after 1 p.m.
