Another man has been charged in relation to a historical murder in Saskatoon.
Two weeks after police charged a 32-year-old man with two murders from 2009 – including the stabbing death of Morgan Doucette – investigators arrested another 32-year-old in connection with Doucette’s slaying.
The second suspect was 19 at the time of the incident. He has been charged with one count each of first-degree murder and assault with a weapon.
On Nov. 16, 2009, police responded to a residence in the 400 block of Avenue H South for a report that a man had been stabbed. When officers arrived, they found the 33-year-old Doucette, who later died from the stab wounds he had suffered.
The suspect is to make his first appearance in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Tuesday.
