A fourth quarter collapse cost the Saskatchewan Rush a win and their season on Saturday evening.
The Rush carried a 9-6 lead into the final frame, but ended up losing 15-11 to the Halifax Thunderbirds at SaskTel Centre.
The loss drops Saskatchewan’s record to 6-10 with two games remaining in the season, ending any chance of returning to the National Lacrosse League playoffs.
Saskatchewan wraps up the regular season with a home game next Saturday against the Colorado Mammoth, followed by a April 29 road game against the Las Vegas Desert Dogs.
