In a province where the Liberals don’t hold seat, Justin Trudeau will be selling Saskatchewan voters on how he’s making life more affordable for Canadians.
The Prime Minister is visiting Regina Thursday where he will continue promoting his government’s recent budget.
Trudeau will meet with families and employees at a local grocery store to promote the one-time grocery rebate his government announced in the March budget.
After that he’ll make an affordability annoucement. Then in the afternoon he will participate in a budget town hall with students and community members.
At the same time Trudeau is touring the Queen City, his political ally is visiting the Bridge City.
NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh will visit the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry where he’ll meet with students and staff.
In the afternoon, Singh will sit down with Mayor Charlie Clark, then cap of his Saskatoon visit with a social meet and greet event.
