Wanted man now missing near Fort Qu’Appelle

RCMP are asking for help in finding a man, not because he’s wanted, but now because he’s missing.

The family of Joel Campbell, 35, hasn’t heard from him for nearly a week and said it’s not normal for him to be out of contact for so long.

Campbell is currently wanted for being unlawfully at large, but RCMP said in a news release that right now they just want to find him and make sure he’s okay. At the same time, police are telling the public not to approach Campbell if they see him, just call RCMP.

Police said Campbell got a ride from someone on Wednesday last week and officers want to talk to that person to find out where Campbell was dropped off.

Campbell is described as 5’8″ tall, 170 lbs, with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

He’s from the Standing Buffalo First Nation near Fort Qu’Appelle and police said he has connections in town.
