Saskatoon fire crews had a busy weekend responding to three separate blazes.
On Friday night, crews were called to the 400 block of Central Avenue after receiving a report of smoke on the second floor of a three-storey apartment building.
Everyone living in the building had safely evacuated before crews arrived on scene.
The cause of the fire was a lit candle that overturned in the living room of the second floor suite. The fire caused an estimated $100,000 in damage.
The second fire occurred Sunday morning in the 1600 block of First Avenue North.
Crews arrived to find flames and smoke pouring out of a multiple-suite property. The building burned for several hours before being levelled by an excavator due to the risk of it collapsing.
The cause is still under investigation at this time. Damage is estimated at $500,000.
After finishing up at that scene, crews were called to a fire in the 300 block of Witney Avenue South.
Roughly $75,000 in damage was caused to the Meadowgreen-area home.
Investigators are calling the fire suspicious.
No residents or firefighters were injured in any of the fires.
