The Saskatoon Blades spun and won Friday.
Conner Roulette scored three goals to help Saskatoon post its seventh straight WHL win, a 6-2 decision over the host Prince Albert Raiders.
The Blades are 11-0-1-0 in their past 12 games and 44-13-4-1 overall. The Raiders’ fourth straight loss dropped their record to 25-33-3-0.
Jake Chiasson added a goal and two assists for the Blades, who got their other goals from Charlie Wright and Misha Volotovskii.
Sloan Stanick and Ryder Ritchie scored for the Raiders, who led 2-1 at one point in the first period.
Austin Elliott stopped 24 shots in the Blades’ net. Max Hildebrand started for Prince Albert and allowed six goals on 15 shots in 40 minutes of action. Tikhon Chaika played the third period in the Raiders’ goal and made nine saves.
The teams are to play again Sunday in Saskatoon. Game time at SaskTel Centre is 4 p.m.
