A 22-year-old Saskatoon man has been charged with allegedly robbing a taxi driver of his cab.
According to police, officers responded Saturday at about 7 p.m., to Avenue B South and 21st Street West, where a cabbie said he had been assaulted and robbed of his taxi.
At the scene, officers found a 24-year-old man who had suffered minor injuries in an apparent stabbing. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
A suspect was located and arrested in the 200 block of Avenue I South. Police didn’t find a weapon on the suspect.
The 22-year-old is charged with robbery, dangerous driving and evading police.
