A collision between a Saskatoon Transit bus and a pedestrian has left a 30-year-old man in hospital with serious injuries.
Police said officers responded to the intersection of College Drive and Cumberland Avenue around 10:45 Tuesday morning. Multiple lanes of traffic were blocked off, and police asked drivers to avoid the area while they conduct an investigation into the crash.
Saskatoon Transit said it is fully co-operating with police and will do its own internal investigation as well.
“Counseling services have been made available to the Operator and our Transit team affected by this incident,” the City of Saskatoon said in a statement.
No charges have been laid.
