Three people have been arrested after three separate stabbings in Saskatoon over the past few days.
According to Saskatoon police, the first incident happened Wednesday at about 9:40 p.m., outside a building in the 400 block of Fairmont Drive.
Officers arrested the suspect in a nearby parking lot, where a knife was found. The 33-year-old victim was taken to hospital with a non-life-threatening stab wound.
A 19-year-old was charged with aggravated assault and breach of probation.
At about 10 p.m. that night, police were called to a suite in the 500 block of Avenue X South, where a 49-year-old man had suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a stabbing.
The suspect was found in the residence and arrested. He was charged with assault with a weapon.
The third stabbing occurred Friday at about 1:30 a.m. Officers were called to the area of the 100 block of Avenue U South after a man armed with a knife was seen chasing another man.
Police found and arrested a male suspect. They also located a 44-year-old man at a nearby residence who had been stabbed multiple times; he who was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A 30-year-old man is facing charges of aggravated assault and breach of a court order.
