Two people are facing charges after a shooting in Saskatoon.
According to police, officers were called to 20th Street West on Wednesday evening, when they found a 28-year-old man suffering an apparent gunshot wound that was not life-threatening.
Police said the investigation led them to an apartment on the same street, where an 18-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man were arrested. They had a sawed-off rifle and ammunition when they were arrested, police said, and both are facing several firearms charges.
The man was also charged with aggravated assault, police noted, and the woman was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
The woman was later charged with assaulting a police officer while she was being processed in police detention. The officer involved was not seriously hurt, police said.
