BRIT is back after a two-year hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Bedford Road Invitational Tournament, one of the top high school boys basketball tournaments, will officially return Thursday with a dozen teams from across Saskatchewan and Canada competing for glory.
The 53rd edition of BRIT will feature its typical format of a 12-team bracket, as the tournament committee didn’t want to introduce any major changes.
There will be two teams from B.C., two from Alberta, one from Manitoba, two from Regina, one from Prince Albert and four from Saskatoon.
The opening game Thursday will feature the host Bedford Road squad up against Alberta’s Raymond High School at 2:30 p.m.
Tickets are available at the door, with day passes selling for $8, two-day passes going for $15 and a weekend pass available for $20.
