A long-running winter attraction in Saskatoon played host to thousands of visitors this season.
The BHP Enchanted Forest saw 76,000 people come through the gate this season, which marked the 24th edition of the annual Christmas light show. According to organizers, that number “would have been much higher if not for frigid temperatures and heavy snowfalls around Christmas.”
The event supported both the Saskatoon Zoo Foundation and the Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation.
But with the 24th edition over, organizers said they’ve already started thinking ahead to the big anniversary next winter.
“Plans are now underway with title sponsor BHP for the 25th Anniversary Celebration next holiday season,” the organizers said.
