Saskatoon’s holiday tradition opens Friday evening with the return of the walking tour. Cancelled the last two years due to COVID-19, people can stroll through the Forestry Farm Park from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. with the Forestry Farm Hall open to warm up.
Vehicles are not permitted into the park for this night and walkers can be dropped off and picked up at the nearby church.
Drive-thru tours of the Enchanted Forest begin Saturday and run daily from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. until Jan. 8.
The holiday light tour has been a major fundraiser for both the Saskatoon City Hospital and Saskatoon Zoo Foundations, sharing more than $250,000 annually.
