Mosaic Stadium will be sold out on Nov. 20 for the 109th Grey Cup.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders along with the CFL made the announcement just after 6 a.m. Wednesday morning. More than 33,000 fans are expected to attend one of the biggest events of the year in Canada.
“The Grey Cup is more than a game – it’s about unity, strength and community,” said CFL commissioner Randy Ambrosie. “It’s a shared legacy between our great game, our world-class players and our incredible fans, and we couldn’t be more excited to gather in a packed-to-the-brim Mosaic Stadium, to write the 109th chapter of this story together.”
Roughriders president and CEO and Grey Cup Festival co-chair Craig Reynolds says they can’t wait to welcome fans from across the country to the Queen City.
“We are looking forward to hosting fans from across the country at Mosaic Stadium for the championship game, and thousands more for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of Canadian football at our Grey Cup Festival,” Reynolds said.
While the game will take place on Nov. 20, fans will be invited to take part in the Grey Cup Festival from Nov. 15-20.
The festival features family-friendly events, team parties and an exciting daily entertainment lineup. The Festival kicks off in Saskatoon on Nov. 15 before moving to Regina.
