A registered massage therapist in Saskatoon is facing a number of new sex crime charges.
Kenneth Braun, 66, was arrested June 9 and charged with sexual assault in relation to an alleged incident that took place in April, when a 31-year-old woman reported being sexually assaulted during a therapeutic massage at a business on Degeer Street.
At the time, police said they believed there could be more victims in the community who had not yet come forward.
Braun is now facing four more charges of sexual assault, police announced Wednesday, along with one charge of sexual assault causing bodily harm and one charge of sexual exploitation.
Even after the new charges were filed, members of the Saskatoon Police Service’s Sex Crime Unit said they believe there could still be more victims in the case who have not yet come forward.
Reporting tools and resources for sexual assault victims are available on the police service website.
