A 39-year-old man is facing an attempted murder charge after a stabbing at a Saskatoon hospital.
According to Saskatoon police, officers were called to Royal University Hospital just after 8 p.m. Monday. At the scene, they learned a 55-year-old man had been stabbed by a man in one of the hospital’s public areas.
The alleged attacker was taken into custody by hospital security, police said, and was arrested by officers when they arrived. He’s now facing a charge of attempted murder.
The victim is still in critical condition after the attack, police said.
