A Saskatoon man has been charged with possessing child pornography and making it available to others.
Officers with Saskatchewan’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant on May 4 after launching an investigation into child pornography that was being shared on multiple social media platforms over several months.
Police searched electronic devices at the home, and 19-year-old Aiden Bohle turned himself in on Wednesday.
Bohle was charged with four counts of possessing child pornography and three counts of making child pornography available. He appeared in provincial court this afternoon.
The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit is a special group made up of officers from the RCMP as well as members of the Saskatoon, Regina and Prince Albert police services.
