Actor Ray Liotta has died at age 67, according to reports.
Liotta, best known for his starring role as mobster Henry Hill in Martin Scorsese’s 1990 film ‘Goodfellas,’ died in his sleep in the Dominican Republic, where he was shooting a film titled ‘Dangerous Waters.’
The actor’s passing was first reported by Deadline, and later confirmed by Liotta’s publicist, Jennifer Allen.
“There was nothing suspicious about the death, and no foul play is suspected,” Allen said in a statement shared on social media.
A native of New Jersey, Liotta played Shoeless Joe Jackson in ‘Field of Dreams,’ and had roles in ‘Hannibal,’ ‘Blow,’ ‘The Many Saints of Newark,’ and many other well-known films.
Liotta was engaged to be married at the time of his death, and is survived by his daughter Karsen.
