Saskatoon police have laid several charges against a man and a woman following a six-day drug trafficking investigation.
According to a news release, police pulled over a vehicle on the 300 block of Ontario Avenue North on Tuesday around 4 p.m. and arrested two men and a woman without incident before seizing some cocaine.
The Tactical Support Unit and the Crime Reduction Team then went to a home on the 1400 block of Avenue B North. A 29-year-old woman was arrested outside the home at roughly 5:30 p.m. before three people were found inside as officers investigated and searched the residence. Two vehicles were also searched, with cocaine being found inside a car.
The investigation ended up finding:
- 250 grams methamphetamine
- 18 grams hard cocaine
- 27.7 grams soft cocaine
- 50 pills including five hydromorphone pills
- 0.7 grams fentanyl
Cash, bear spray, ammo and a machete were also taken.
A 32-year-old man was charged with a series of trafficking and possession crimes related to cocaine, meth and fentanyl.
A 29-year-old woman was charged with possession of cocaine for the purposes of trafficking, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
