Treatments
According to the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s Derek Miller, 50 people have been identified through a screening process to receive monoclonal antibody treatments — and 20 have had that treatment.
Over the past week, six monoclonal antibody infusion treatments were delivered in Regina, Saskatoon and Prince Albert. Miller said there now are 12 clinics across Saskatchewan offering that treatment.
As for vaccines, the SHA’s Sheila Anderson said 700 doses of the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine have been given in the province since its arrival. Anderson said that uptake met the SHA’s expectations.
She noted the province received 2,500 doses of the J&J vaccine and can order more if they’re required.
