A 15-year-old boy was arrested Thursday after he allegedly pointed a gun on the grounds of a Saskatoon school.
The Saskatoon Police Service said officers were called to a school in the 600 block of Acadia Drive at about 12:45 p.m. The school wasn’t identified, but Evan Hardy Collegiate is in that area.
When officers arrived, they learned a 15-year-old boy had pointed a gun on school grounds and then had gone home. Police went to the boy’s home, where he was arrested. The gun was a replica firearm.
The boy faces charges of assault with a weapon, use of a weapon while committing an offence, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and carrying a concealed weapon.
