Saskatoon police are searching for a person believed to be responsible for a stabbing that sent a man to hospital with life threatening injuries Friday.
An officer in the K-9 unit found two men fighting in an alley near Idylwyld Drive North and 32nd Street West around 7 p.m. Friday. When the officer drove up to approach them, a man wearing a red shirt and ball cap ran away. The man was taken to hospital by Medavie Health Services West. As of Saturday afternoon, he’s apparently stable.
The serious assault unit was called to investigate. The suspect was not found and police are still on the lookout.
