There are three scenarios in the last week that beg the question if you just let players make decisions or do what’s best for the team or the players health.
The less severe is Cody Fajardo staying in a game and running with the ball up 30-8. Many, myself included, wonder why the heck isn’t Isaac Harker in the game.
Then there was week one with Michael Reilly throwing the ball with what was clearly an elbow issue that was hampering him. The long term concern seemed to go out the window once Reilly said he’s good when he clearly wasn’t.
But the biggest question has come from Calgary. Bo Levi Mitchell playing on a cracked fibula? The team knew about it and still let their quarterback play?
All three men are uber competitive. Some of the fiercest in the league who would play through and have played through tremendous pain.
They’ve proven to their coaches to trust them when it comes to playing through the pain.
