CALGARY — Callum Irving stopped all four shots his way for his sixth clean sheet of the season, helping Pacific FC stay atop the Canadian Premier League standings with a 0-0 draw against Cavalry FC on Tuesday.
Pacific FC (6-2-4) was outshot 9-7 (4-0 on target) by second-place Cavalry FC but avoided dropping in the standings by extending its unbeaten streak to five games with three wins and two draws.
Cavalry (6-3-3) could have leapfrogged Pacfic with a win in front of 2,394 fans at ATCO Field.
The Calgary-based squad is one point back through 12 matches.
Cavalry has gone 2-0-1 since a 2-0 loss against Pacific on July 30.
