Three people are facing a total of 53 charges after a disturbance report led Saskatoon police to discover firearms and drugs Monday.
Just after 11 a.m. on Aug. 2, 2021, Saskatoon officers were called to a residence in the 200 block of Avenue O South about people making a disturbance outside.
Three people were seen by the SPS Air Support Unit leaving the back of the house as officers arrived. The people travelled to another address on the street.
Police then located a vehicle that was running at the scene. The vehicle was searched and officers found a loaded firearm in the backseat and two other firearms and ammunition in the rear hatch.
Two women, aged 44 and 33, and a man, 31, were searched, and officers reportedly located fentanyl, Xanax, hydromorph and methamphetmine.
The three individuals — from Saskatoon and Liberty, Sask., as well as Edmonton — are facing numerous charges related to firearms and drugs.
