Mosaic Stadium will soon be filled with thousands of cheering Saskatchewan Roughriders fans, as single-game tickets go on sale.
Starting Monday at 10 a.m., there will be more than 10,000 single-game tickets available per game for purchase.
“We have got 30-year vets (on our staff) that have been in our ticket office and they have never seen the influx of calls and attention that we’ve received,” said Miriam Johnson, the director of marketing and fan engagement with the CFL’s Roughriders.
“We are excited to jump back into the market and help bring Saskatchewan back together after everyone was apart for so long.
“Every single year, we open up single-game tickets and on that first day it’s just incredible, so be patient with us.”
Johnson says there are around 22,000 season-ticket holders this season and she anticipates the feeling at games to be very similar to what you remember — despite some minor temporary changes.
“Because of the way that the football players are in a bubble, we’re not going to be able to have a lot of entertainment on the field,” Johnson said. “That’s the only difference you’re going to see in the game experience.”
The Roughriders start their regular season at home on Aug. 6 against the B.C. Lions.
