More details have been released about a homicide investigation that started over the weekend.
Norman Charles Custer, 44, has been identified as the victim.
Police, along with firefighters and paramedics were initially called to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Saturday, May 22 in the 900 Block of 17th St. W. Prince Albert Police are now confirming Custer died as a result of a gunshot wound and there was no evidence he was struck by a vehicle.
Police continue to investigate and ask that anyone with information about the homicide contact the police service at 306-953-4222 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
