Winter conditions are making a return to Saskatchewan.
Environment Canada issued snowfall warnings in the areas around Yorkton, Melfort, Humboldt, Kamsack and Hudson Bay Saturday afternoon.
The weather agency is forecasting 15 to 25 centimetres, or 6 to 10 inches, of snow throughout Sunday into Monday morning.
A second weather system will bring heavy snow later Monday and Tuesday as well.
“Snowfall warnings may be expanded to other areas in southern and central Saskatchewan as this second system continues to develop,” the agency said.
Snow and lower-than-average temperatures are expected throughout most of the province. There is a 70 per cent chance of rain or snow flurries in Saskatoon Sunday, while the chance stands at 30 per cent in Regina.
