Two people are facing a laundry list of charges after a bust by the Saskatoon Guns and Gangs Unit.
Police say a 44-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman are facing a combined total of 92 drug- and weapons-related charges.
After a two-day investigation, the Guns and Gangs Unit and the Tactical Support Unit raided a house in the Meadowgreen neighbourhood Thursday. The man and woman were seen leaving the house and were arrested nearby.
The police found an SKS assault rifle, 141 rounds of ammunition, a conducted energy weapon, two imitation firearms, brass knuckles, four machetes, a throwing star, 18 hydromorphone pills, 7.22 grams of fentanyl packaged for distribution, 45.04 grams of methamphetamine, 1.25 grams of cocaine packaged for distribution, six digital scales, nine cellphones, three tablets, two stolen bicycles, 29 stolen identity documents and $390 in cash.
Man arrested with weapons
Also Thursday, a 38-year-old man was arrested after he was found with a number of weapons.
Just before 9 p.m., officers patrolling in the Mount Royal area saw a man they knew was disobeying court orders.
After arresting the man, officers found a loaded sawed-off rifle, two loaded magazines, a sock filled with 157 rounds of ammunition, a machete and 0.42 grams of meth.
The man is facing a number of weapons-related charges.
