The Saskatchewan Health Authority says doses of the Pfizer vaccine are to be available to people aged 70 and over who are living on their own in some Saskatchewan communities.
Appointments are required. The seniors must be able to travel to the immunization clinics.
The shots are to be available in Wakaw, Cudworth and area on Friday (4 p.m. to 8 p.m.) and Saturday (noon to 6 p.m.). Appointments can be booked by calling 1-306-233-4443.
The vaccinations in Rosthern and area are set for Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. To book an appointment, call 1-306-682-1227.
Shots will be available in Big River today from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at the Big River Primary Care Clinic. To book an appointment, call 1-306-469-2505.
A clinic is set for Canwood on Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Canwood Community Clinic. Appointments are available by calling 1-306-468-2400.
There is to be a clinic in Shellbrook on Friday (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and Saturday (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) at the Parkland Integrated Health Center. To book an appointment, call 1-306-747-6812.
In Birch Hills, vaccinations are to be available Friday at the Birch Hills Primary Care Clinic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call 1-306-749-3331 for an appointment.
A clinic is scheduled for Debden next Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Debden Community Center. Appointments can be made by calling 1-306-469-2505.
There also is to be a clinic in Blaine Lake next Tuesday; it’s set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Blaine Lake Primary Care Clinic. To book an appointment, call 1-306-497-2494.
