A woman is facing a slew of charges after a hit-and-run Saturday night in Saskatoon.
In a news release, police said the 36-year-old hit another vehicle near the intersection of Ave. T and 30th St. at about 8:30 p.m. She then drove away and got stuck in a snow bank.
While officers were trying to make the arrest the woman allegedly kept her foot on the gas while stuck.
With the help of police dogs, officers were able to successfully arrest the woman. She was bitten and suffered minor injuries.
There was also a passenger in the vehicle, a 23-year-old woman. She was arrested for outstanding warrants.
According to police the vehicle was stolen.
The 36-year-old is charged with impaired driving, hit-and-run, theft over $5,000 and impersonation.
