A 19-year-old man was arrested early Wednesday after Saskatoon police saw a sawed-off shotgun on the passenger seat of a car they had pulled over.
According to the Saskatoon Police Service, patrol officers noticed a suspicious car in the 800 block of Kingsmere Boulevard at about 4:30 a.m.
Officers stopped the car in the 200 block of Crean Crescent and, as they approached the vehicle, they saw a shotgun on the front passenger’s seat.
The lone occupant of the car was arrested and charged with six gun-related offences.
